At CA tonight.
Pitt is 9-6 on the season so far while we are 8-6.
The ladies have jumped out to a 21 - 8 lead with 6:30 left in the first.
Aliyyah, our very good freshman who continues to improve each game has 9 points while junior Keylantra who had the best game of her life against Seton Hall is of to another good start with 6 points.
Lets see if Joey T can go to 3-0 in the BE tonight.

I just realized that Keylantra is starting in place of Briana Brown who has not gotten into the game.
Does anyone know if she is hurt?
 
60-32 for the ladies with a minute left.
I see that Coach has emptied his bench and has played 11 players so far.
Very nice on the part of the staff.

Coach Joey T is 3-0 in the Big East, what a way to start your coaching career.
Uconn and ND are coming up soon as is Louisville so we must win the conference games which are winnable if we hope to dance again.
Perhaps such talk is premature but if we can win every BE game that is not against a top 15 team we may have a chance. After all 4 of our 6 losses are against top 20 competition, Texas, Duke, UCLA and Delaware. Our strength of schedule is just brutal.

Brown suffered a concussion vs. Seton Hall
