Right now on the road and leading 27-22 with under 4 minutes left in the first.
Marquette was 12-3 and 3-1 in the Big East going into this game as opposed to SJU which is 11-5 and 4-1 in the Big East. Needless to say this game on the road would be a great win for the ladies.
I hope they can keep it up.
 
38-29 for the ladies with just under 12 minutes left.
Danejia Grant leading the way with 13 points so far.
 
Marquette just scored 10 straight points to take the lead but Aliyyah Handford just scored a layup to put us up by 1 point 40-39.
 
Aliyyah with another layup and two free throws as the ladies go up by 5 with under 5 minutes to play.
Keep it up.
 
Final score of 49-47 for the good guys. The second huge win for the ladies on the road this week against a top big east team. First DePaul and now Marquette with Butler at home in between.
A great week for the ladies and perhaps the pollsters will take notice.
