68-52 this afternoon on the road to go to 11-1 on the season. Team captain Denejeah Grant had 24 and 11 while super Aliyyah had 21 and 6. Sophomore Jade Walker almost had a double double with 14 and 9 while Amber had 6 and 10. The negatives were our little pg Aliyah Lewis did not have a great game and we are not getting enough contributions from our four freshmen who must contribute if we are to go far.
However we won a big east game on the road and that is the key.

I have watched several games this season
I am really impressed with our starting five
However, we get almost nothing from the bench
We also need to develop a big who can spell Thompson
This is critical because she is foul prone
Developing the bench is a must for us to make a good run this season

From what I've read Hall is doing really well. Their woman's coach is from Iona I think. Another Iona to Seton Hall hire Pat Lyons made when he was named AD.

You are correct on all accounts Moose and so far the hire is proving to be great. They made the big dance last season and got very lucky over the summer when the NCAA granted a transfer from the University of Alabama the right to play immediately this season as a local family member was ill. She was and will be a big addition to their roster.
