This afternoon at CA 73-54.
We outscored them every quarter. I say that as we often let teams back in the game.
Our two stars were back on track and combined for 38 points, 15 boards, assists, blocks, etc. Neither was in foul trouble and respectively played 31 and 30 minutes.
More importantly we got solid contributions from sophomores Imani Littleton and Crystal Simmons and Freshmen Akinna Wellere and Jordan Agustus who all must step up if we are to be a contender and a very good game from Jade Walker and Aliyah Lewis.
Not writing anyone off yet but sophomore Tamesha Alexander who was ranked so highly as a junior and got injured her senior season in high school has yet to show anything.
She must start to develop in the near future.
9-2, but not thrilled after the Duquesne embarrassement. We really should be10-1.

Well the Duquesne loss was on the road to a team that has won 10 straight and was up for the ranked St.John's team.
St. John's is now out of the polls two weeks after that loss and has a big game against DePaul on Jan 3. DePaul is ranked with an 8 and 5 record but huge road wins against ranked teams. Podkowa playing great and looking like best player in the Big East.
