I watched second half and found it entertaining and the basketball play was more athletic as the women's game evolves. (Arike "Buckets" scoring 34 in second was amazing.) Third quarter was virtually nonstop. They sold out the arena in Phoenix (around 16,500). They also found a way to tone down the Clark/Reese back and forth; let them play on the same team. Positive things said by Reese after game as she loves playing with someone who dishes the ball and she knows Clark will get her the ball.

The win by the all-star team over Team USA (also made up of WNBA players), could signal a changing of the old guard of the WNBA for the youth of the all-stars

Reese/Clark have certainly boosted WNBA presence as seen by a number of factors. For the first half of the year, league is averaging over 10,000 per game. They are talking about expanding the 44-game season next year. The media contract is reportedly going from $60M to $200M per year.
