In a few minutes, despite the worst news of the season, St. John's will likely get an NCAA bid. It will be the first in the Lavin era with his own kids, and they fought a lot of adversity to get there.
Today's news may have been the back breaker, and all of us are pissed beyond belief, but I promise you one thing:
As soon as our seed and opponent are announced, we will begin thinking of whether or not we can win the game. We will wonder if we can offset CO's loss with a combination of subs and determination. We will continue to root.
Come next September, most of us will renew season tickets, and continue to hope in the ascent of the program. Complain, begrudge, agree, disagree, we all love the progrma we love to hate.
All good guys, even the ones I disagree with the most.
