Why Baseball Matters

JSJ it us good to see the Baseball team back in the top 20 Rankings this season . I live near Savannah and had the opportunity to watch Anthony Brocato play last Season for the Savannah Banannas in the summer college league . His season ended abruptly with a injury . Good to see he has rebounded this year and leads the team with Home Runs . .
 
Didn't want to start a new thread but doesn't get much better than a deciding play off game between long time rivals the Dodgers and the Giants.

Kept waiting for which Dodger pitcher would proclaim "I'm Ralph Branca" and then be shouted down by another pitcher screaming "I'm Stan Williams."  Never happened last night.  Long ago Dodger fan who when he read Dante's Inferno thought that Cassius and Brutus would have to double up so that another mouth could accommodate Robert Moses and Walter O'Malley.
