I was there when Kansas came in with Walt Wesley and beat us and I was there when we beat U. Miami with Rick Barry.

Can't remember for sure, but I do recall Hill hitting outside and Dove dominating Vanoy, who was huge, on the inside.

I was at that game (66-44 I believe). One of the most exciting games I have ever attended at Alumni Hall. Swartz, Warren, Bogad and Dove shocked Jo Jo White et al. I don’t recall Brian Hill. That game made me a forever St. John’s fan and season ticket holder for thirty years.
Tha other game I would rank as a great Alumni Hall win was the defeat of the Bernie-Ernie Tennessee team. The arena was electric!

Yeah, AH exploded when Grunfeld was called for a charge as he drove the baseline early in the game.  It set the tone for the game.

I was there.  Incredible game and right before Christmas break, I recall.  Alumni Hall was crazy and Allie put on a show.  Just amazing to be there.
