Undoubtedly too soon after the highs and final low of the 2017 season to ask this, but I will anyway - should GIrardi and Cashman be back next year? I admit to not being a Girardi fan, but he did a very good job this year and Cashman did a good job building a contender, but I don't know.
George probably would have fired both this morning and traded Judge for Pujols.

Meant to put this in baseball forum; sorry.

Need to move Castro . Bad plate discipline and easy to pitch around and you need room for glyber . Then make room for andujar at 3rd . Clint Frazier to the OF in place of Gardy . Sign otani and promote Sheffield and go to war .

Cashman should be getting another extension after this season. He turned a multi year rebuild into a 90 win ALCS team with some great trades and draft picks.

It will be interesting to see who returns next year, especially the older guys like Holliday and Frazier. Maybe Ellsbury can somehow come off the books and Hick can have a full year in CF. Having Gleyber Torres at 3rd and hopefully a healthy Greg Bird could really bring this team to a whole new level.

Oh and also it will be great when Matt Harvey signs with the Yankees and has a career year :)

As a Met fan I would gladly give you Harvey for nothing this year as long as you promise to keep him in your starting rotation until his arm falls off :)
