Which Starting Five Would You Prefer?

As discussions continue about this SJU team requiring a couple of months to gel and hit its peak, and if VJ comes here or joins a monster class at Duke, I started thinking which roster makeup would I rather have:

1. A team starting five, fifth year senior transfers.
2. A team starting five, five star freshmen.

I think I would go with option one, if no other reason than the experience factor.
 
Depends on how good the 5th year senior transfers would be, but I probably would go for option 2. With the seniors you're guaranteed to lose everyone the following year, while the freshmen could return. There also would be a ton of hype surrounding the freshmen and at least a couple would likely have solid NBA careers, while the 5th year seniors most likely wouldn't play in the NBA. Wouldn't surprise me if option 1 made it further in the Tournament, but long-term I'd like option 2 for NBA potential and the possibility of returning players. Oh, and it'd also mean we'd have massive Duke-level NIL money lol.

Both options are greedy and delusional (that was my intention).

Michigan’s Fab 5 and this Duke class isn’t exactly a reoccurring trend either. Especially since the fifth year transfer rule is still evolving.
