...being disappointed about the recruiting? Can someone find that for me?

Have not seen it in awhile.

I mean Walter Clayton decided to go home that was devastating, what is SJU going to do?

AJ Storr goes to Wisconsin, just a gut punch.

Posh, Curbelo, Stanley...

Who cares that SJU got a coach that is the literally the most accomplished coach they have ever hired and could ever dream of hiring? And quite frankly just about any high major would say the same thing.

The important thing is to complain in March and April that you are so disappointed because he missed on a couple of 4 and 5 star recruits.

Because we know this program would be so much better off with having Mike Anderson back or Chris Mullin or better yet Speedy Claxton as coach.

To see people make abject fools of themselves and always have a plausible deniability by saying, "I didn't say we would never get good players or Pitino is not a good coach but I think it is fair to question his recruiting 4 weeks into his hire don't you....." always puts a smile on my face.
 
I will say this again if Rick Pitino felt trying to keep all the eligible returning players was the right move, I am for it.

If he felt overturning the whole roster was the right move, I was all for it.

If he felt bringing the entire Iona team over including the cheerleaders I was for it.

If he felt having 6 walk ons, 4 Iona players and 3 cheerleaders, I was for it.

You know why? Because he is literally one of the 3 or 4 greatest coaches of the last 40 years in CBB. And at 70 he is more motivated then ever to win now.

To ever pretend that we should treat his recruiting like any other coach SJU has hired recently was always absurd.

Here's the thread. reads to me like a bunch of rational fans of st johns basketball, expressing some apprehension about our first handful of commits while also expressing trust in the coach (except for the occassional Larry Wright troll job lol)

but yes shaming posters is fun too so i get it !
 
I think Picasso, Van Gogh I mean pitino is now almost done with his canvas. This is why you let the man do his thing before criticizing.
