What's Our Next Steps To Make Deeper Run

That Arkansas game was winnable- the refs called way too many fouls on both sides and we missed a lot of shots. But it make me wonder- Cal had some athletic giants on his team with that extra length that really forced us into bad shots or made shots way more difficult. Is the way forward here to get some more high level bigger players in the Prey and Zuby mold to supplement them? Is Brady coming back and Leftkeris enough to fix the shooting issues? We also are going to need some more guards. There is a difference between a Round of 32/Sweet 16 team and an Elite 8/Final 4 team. How do we bridge that?

Simply put, we need more consistent shot makers. Kadary and Luis sometimes had their midrange going, Scott sometimes had his 3pter going, Smith seemed to lose a lot of his shotmaking abilities post-shoulder injury.

We had a great team. 31-5!! BE Champs. But we could have been even better with more shot making from different areas on the floor. If we can find that in the portal, and get improvements in consistency from guys like Sim, we will be very good again and maybe better equipped for a deep run

Scoring, shooting, and defense is obviously needed for continuity, but a Kadary type is huge for next year.

Beyond the box score, He was steady , made the right pass , could get you a bucket, and had tremendous basketball instincts and was a savage when it came to “touches” . Always around the ball and had sneaky/quick hands. I hope they can find someone like that.

Despite his FT and 3 point woes, Kadary is a unicorn. There aren’t any Kadary type players to sign because they don’t exist.
