My closest childhood friend also graduated from St. John's a year or two after me.
He lives out of state and he hasn't given a second thought to St. John's school since day he graduated. He follows college basketball a bit but hasn't followed the team since we went to a game together during first year of Felipe/Zendon era. Other than Mullin and Pitino has no idea who else was coach since Carnesecca.
He saw a few weeks ago we were ranked and started to follow along with a "sports investment" (not my thing)... He then saw the Pitino Vice series and has watched each week. Today, he saw article in Forbes...
