First, to Chris7, I don't think so. Even the most irrational of us understand that these pre-season tourneys in exotic locales are great for the program.

But I hope, as stated by some genius on JJ, that being in a tourney with Long Beach St doesn't preclude the return game in Long Beach that I thought was definitely going to happen next season.

First, to Chris7, I don't think so. Even the most irrational of us understand that these pre-season tourneys in exotic locales are great for the program.

But I hope, as stated by some genius on JJ, that being in a tourney with Long Beach St doesn't preclude the return game in Long Beach that I thought was definitely going to happen next season.

My guess is one of two things:

1. They play at LBS next year anyway. They'll just put us and them on opposite sides of the bracket for that tournament, hoping to avoid a second game

or:

2. The Long Beach St. away game gets pushed back to the 2018-19 season.

Doubt that it goes away completely, but that's only a guess.
