like others saw Bill on the bench and court after the game....which leads me to a question

anyone know the rules of who you can have on your bench during a game? Unless someone knows differently Wennington is just a friend of the Head Coach..

Definitely Not against Bill working with our guys but figure the NCAA has to have some sort of regulation on this.
 
It looked like Wennington rubbed off on Williams and Owens today.
 
Screw the NCAA. They probably have a rule and we will be sanctioned by Monday. However, if you are North Carolina or Louisviille..... well..... :eek:hmy: :whistle:
 
Maybe same situation as Zendon in past couple of years.

Nah. Zendon had a job. Bill was just there for inspiration. Still lives in Chicago area I believe.
 
Being there for inspiration... that is what I was getting at. Wonder where the line is... I can see Calipari having Drake or Lebron on the end of his bench for "inspiration"

I am guessing there is a line or rule... just wondering where it is

He was and I assume still is the Bulls' color guy. I assume he will drop by every time we visit DePaul when he doesn't have a conflict, but him working with our bigs probably just wishful thinking.

Funny guy though, so I assume the pregame speech was pretty entertaining.
 
This doesn't seem to be an issue.... We have Fr. Rock on the bench for all our games too
 
Fr. Rock is a lot different than Wennington.... Fr. Rock is an official part of the athletic department and not just a friend of the head coach who is in town for the day
