Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond St. John’s control, the Malik Sealy “Legend Series Bobbleheads" were not delivered on-time to be distributed for tomorrow's 12 p.m. game. The bobbleheads were scheduled to arrive well in advance of the game, but due to an ongoing labor dispute and work stoppages at the West Coast ports, the bobblehead shipment has not been unloaded for delivery.

Fans who attend tomorrow's game vs. Seton Hall can stop by the Carnesecca Arena Ticket Office at a later date and present their Seton Hall ticket stubs to pick up their bobbleheads. Updates and pick-up instructions will be posted to RedStormSports.com as soon as we know more.

Or, more likely, posters here can find a way to pin this on Lavin too. If he had recruited better dockworkers, we wouldn't be in this spot...
 
if we would have just ordered the child labor brazilian bobble heads we wouldn't have had this problem

You're absolutely correct. He should have seen this West Coast dock strike happening months ago and should have demanded that these Bobbleheads be rushed on campus. This is the most egregious of all his faults. Fire Lavin!

Yes, the assembly line is comparatively young, but they were supposed to "gel" by February.
 
Problem solved!
Just home from dinner in Chinatown and the waiter gave me a contact on Canal street who brought me to a storage room in the basement and he had a generic made in China bobblehead perfect for the redmen. I took 500 at $1 each and should be ready for game time.

A tentative agreement was reached last night between the union and the operators of the West Coast docks. I hope somebody went through all the cargo on those docks, found our Bobblehead dolls and is having them Fedexed overnight to arrive just in time for today's game! :cheer:
 
Kind of sucks, was looking forward to getting mine today. Not looking forward to having to trek out to the campus to pick it up on a future date especially with no game going on
