WE BEAT UCONN IN STORRS!

 Shenneika Smith with the game winning 3 with 8 seconds to go and the Lady Johnnies beat Uconn on the road 57-56! First time beating Uconn since 1993, and snaps Uconn's 99 game home winning streak! Great day for St. John's basketball!

 A win at Storrs is huge. Makes the leap to the upper echelon of women's hoops seem possible.

Staff and the girls are on the bus back to campus right now and they are ecstatic to say the least. They are all having a good time.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LADIES. 
 
 It's the best in the regular season.

Although it's been awhile, the women did win three straight Big East Tournament titles.
