He has added his name to the transfer portal, nice kid but I see a mid major in his future. Best of luck Vince thanks for being a Johnny.

I wish Vince success at his next school. His struggles kind of surprised me. He was Top 7 Juco in 2019, higher-ranked than Moore.

I think if he stuck around it would have worked out for both him and the team.  But.....respect his decision.

Coles obvious shortcoming was his inability to become that outside shooter SJU needed but just as important was lack of quickness on defense. He was not the type of player Anderson usually recruits, which is a backcourt men who can play pressure defense. And he didn’t have the size or strength to play the front court.
This is a transfer similar to Carahers that should benefit both the players transferring and SJU. If they move to a league lower than the big east they will both shine. If they move to a comparable league to a team that plays a slower style of basketball they won’t stand out but they both could earn minutes and perform better than at SJU.
With all the transferring going on after this season SJU should have no problem securing two players who can contribute at least as much.

I hate seeing players leave. Cole just didn't fit with Anderson's program. I agree he'd do better in a style that's slower.
I wish him the best of luck at his new college.

I generally ascribe to Charles Barkley's onetime statement that basketball rewards many talents.    He said that in defense of Euro plodders who were criticized by some as being less than players who could jump through the roof or be quick as hell.   Cole's talent apparently is putting the ball in the hole consistently, and it didn't happen enough here for him to warrant serious burn.   I hope he rediscovers his stroke wherever he lands next, and wish him well.
