I would hope that someone could sell this season to Netflix. I don't think there is a single bigger story in college basketball and it's happening in the biggest market in the world's most famous arena. Best coach, best city, best arena, and preseason #1. What are we doing here? The market is so hot for documentaries. Get it done.As the season slowly approaches, does anyone know whether there are plans to have a second season of "Pitino Red Storm Rising"? Obviously it was popular with the base, but in light of the focus on Pitino, I would think that it has an even broader appeal.
Episode 2: do we really need a true point guard?Episode 1 is going to be titled “ The redfan season ticket thread “
Then of course Episode 3 after an early season loss: “is Pitino the guy?”Episode 2: do we really need a true point guard?
I doubt it. This type of series tend to one during one season and then they move on to another team or coach. While it won’t be like the HBO Hard Knocks which retains it series name but focuses on a different team every year, this year (and the Calapari one) will have a different name and focus on a different program. As the season slowly approaches, does anyone know whether there are plans to have a second season of "Pitino Red Storm Rising"? Netflix wont do it. But why wouldn't TNT Sports (which, long story short, is Warner Brothers/HBO) , do something similar to SEC Country on Netflix and advertise the Big East schools throughout the season on HBO Max? Make it like a Hard Knocks where you're following the conference throughout the year. Make the games more interesting, and get more content.I would hope that someone could sell this season to Netflix. The storylines are there: Pitino-Hurley, father v son (2-3x), Pitino’s last chapter, MSG, the St. John’s curse, Pitino v Kentucky, Pitino v two former coaches, etc.Netflix wont do it. STJ and UConn being featured teams would just be a no brainer.

The backdrop of MSG to cold open a scene…just perfect tv.
+1000000!Besides, this season would be boring to document.
1. Top five in the country.
2. Wins National Championship.
Yawn. What kind of suspense is that?
Trying to keep expectations reasonable .+1000000!
BTW, you forgot to add “undefeated”
woah woah.... pump the brakes a bit lol.... Pitino’s last chapter.....
Think he means his St. John’s tenure will be his “last chapter”, not that this season would bewoah woah.... pump the brakes a bit lol
