Use of NIL money

Is it possible for a player who has received NIL money to transfer to
another school and use the NIL money to pay his tuition at that school ?
He would not be a scholarship player that year and could play as a walk on
and the following year could be granted an athletic scholarship if a player graduates
or transfers .

Why would someone use their own money to pay for tuition when they will get a scholarship somewhere else?
I'm assuming he asked this with Curbelo and Jones in mind, but I'm not sure it would work that way anyway. Don't think either of them can avoid sitting by walking on once the NCAA determines they should sit.

I think Curbelo goes pro somewhere if he doesn't feel confident he gets a waiver to play right away.

Im asking because he might want to go to a school that has no scholarships available . The school might be very interested in
him and he has a pocket full of NIL money and would anticipate getting more NIL money in the future at the new school.
