Johnnies now have 2 alumni heading to the USGA Open in Seattle next week. Pat Wilson advanced yesterday through sectional qualifying in Purchase, NY shooting 73 - 69. He will join Keegan Bradley in the field. Keegan has already texted him setting up a few practice rounds together. Should be a great experience. !!!!

Here in Chambers Bay cheering on Keegan and Pat Wilson.

Was lucky to speak with Pat today on the practice putting green after his round.

Very, very nice young man. I'm proud that he is a fellow alumnus.

Followed both he and Keegan yesterday and today. Will be back at the course tomorrow.

Wearing my St. John's baseball cap. A few random spectators have asked about Chris and Coach Carnesecca.

My wife and I also went to Safeco (Seattle vs The Giants) last night to cheer on Joe Panik. Beautiful stadium. Lots of S.F. fans there.

what do you think of the course ? I'm not a fan of the way it looks on tv but that shot with mt rainier or whatever it is in the background is real cool

We should ask Dustin Johnson
One of the all time greatest choke jobs in golf history
My wife (who never watches golf) watched the back 9 with me
At the end, she asked if anyone ever taught Johnson how to putt

My biggest complaint was that it wasn't exactly spectator friendly. Although it was a nice problem to have in the grand scheme of things.

Difficult to get close to the players on a consistent basis.

Perfect course to walk...if you were a Billy Goat ! LOL !!

That said, I was very lucky to be there. Had a great time.

Spent some time speaking with Pat Wilson. Also spoke with Keegan's father for a couple of minutes.

Weather could not have been nicer. Met some very nice people.

Stayed in Seattle.

Took 2 hours (at best) to get to the course. Drove to The Washington State Fair Grounds and then took a shuttle bus (45 minute ride) to Chambers Bay.
