Syracuse will have the largest basketball crowd to ever play in the Dome when Georgetown visits Sunday. This game will be the last time in
a Big East basketball match up, the 2 schools will play. Over 35K tickets have been sold and counting.
Think the 'Cuse fans are happy with the end of the Big East.
Any guesses on the Wake and Clemson crowds next year.
 
Dont worry when Duke and UNC come up there, they will draw well .. Hopefully well be pretty good 2 years from now and we will be a big draw. Remember this is Syracuse in the winter, not NYC were you have pro sports and a plethera of entertainment.
 
Other than Duke and North Carolina, the ACC is a very boring conference. No local games for the NYC alumni and probably their tournament will be in the South every year.
Syracuse will be out of place in the ACC and someday their fans will regret leaving the Big East.

I totally agree. They will get their money and then feel like something is missing. Cuse fit in the Big East the way a well-worn soft leather jacket fits you after time. They WERE the Big East. They now sever many NY area connections and also lose their identity of dominance adding more serious competition like UNC, Duke, Miami, etc. They go from the consistent top Big East team to possibly the #4 or #5 team quite easily. Just like BC leaving years ago, I think Cuse will regret it. Boeheim is also gone soon.

Wake did not travel big to garden when we played them so its a half empty game Clemson even less since their wear ugly orange too haha

It will be great winning big $$ on Miami kicking their ass in FB every yr show me the $$ haha
