UCONN vs NOVA @MSG

Is this considered a UCONN home game? I see UCONN and a Husky planted on the floor.

I am fine with other teams playing at MSG but slapping their name and logo on the floor is not a good thing.

Absolutely disgusting. You know how many games there have been where an sju logo wasn’t anywhere to be seen?

Am I overthinking and you’re implying she may covet them for realignment Paultz?

Just my gut, but yes

Ratty game so far. Yakwe gave UConn solid minutes blocking a few shots & taking a couple of charges. Basically, that’s what he should do.

I would love to have them back in Big east = another big MSG game.
Their logo and name should not be on the court.

Also, I hope we rectify the issue of not having a big game in December at MSG as all these other local teams are playing there with good crowds!

Their name on the court is an insult to both Villanova and the Big East.

It is definitely an insult. And I don't remember anything like that ever being allowed. However now in my mind I have no doubt either they're being courted to the Big East, or UConn pulled this off to make themselves look more attractive. Sickening either way.

Watching with my Villanova grad nephew. Nova punishing Uconn for the transgression. I hope they blow them out of the Garden.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news '72 but Rutgers had the silly loser "R" painted on the floor on at least two occasions. The first time I saw it I nearly dropped my beer on the TV. This is not the first time this has happened. MSG doesn't care who they sell to. That's a fact.

This is why we need UConn back. Sell out crowd! They love the Garden. I had a half-dozen friends there for Uconn today and a few family members there for Nova. That is $ in our pockets for sell-out home game, sell-out tournaments, and more media $.

Make them pay an exit amount that would be prohibitive and cap their spending on basketball to a certain amount.

If this is the start of Quinerly being a major contributor then Nova becomes once again the BE favorite. Still not a Final 4 threat but good enough to beat SJU and Marquette for league.

And I agree the name on the court is disgusting, but it just shows you how much bigger their fan base is than anything in the Big East.

Today’s UConn beatdown reminds me of another time the Huskies got rolled at MSG on national TV.
February 1,1992 - SJU led by the late great Malik Sealy’s 25 points and 18 rebounds, pummeled #6 UConn 90-57.
The johnnies jumped out to a 27point halftime lead against a Connecticut team that included Chris Smith, Scott Burrell, Donyell Marshall and Kevin Ollie.
