UConn - Cincy

Stands look practically empty. Its a shame, great game.

Bad attendance for that conference. These are two of the more popular teams in the conference and the arena is empty.

But the game is easily one of the best of the year. Ending to the 3rd overtime was awesome.

Final : Uconn 104 Cincy 97 4 OT's. Uconn gets revenge of sorts for loosing to Syracuse in 6 overtimes at the Garden.
Best game I've seen in quite some time.

Not watching, but my fear out of this is UCONN riding the momentum of this all the way to another national championship.

Unlikely, but they've done it twice before (remember, St. Joseph's had them beat in the first round in 2014), so it can't be totally ruled out, IMO.

All UConn has to do is drop football to the MAC and sign a pledge of allegiance. . .

Either that or wait for the PAC-12 to pillage the Big 12, and then have the Big 12, Big 10, and SEC tear apart the ACC, and hope the cards reshuffle for them.

One way seems easier to me.

They're not good enough to get out of the first weekend. But I think that 3/4 court heave might have gotten them into the dance and that pisses me off. Was hoping to see NIT next to their name.

They were a 7 seed in 2014 (in other words, "not good enough to go to the sweet 16"), and had a miracle comeback against St. Joseph's in the round of 64, after they appeared dead. We know how that story ended.

I've learned never to count out this team until the wooden steak is officially driven through their hearts.

Unbelievable game, especially the ending of the 3rd OT. Was rooting against UConn, of course (hoping they'll be relegated to the NIT), but gotta give credit where credit is due.
