as per his father. Reported by many reporters on Twitter
Gottfried brought in a great 2012 class
I would guess that Tyler saw the light and decided to go to a school where he would play

I bet Providence goes after him.

They are going to be touch next season Thet just got a 6-11 transfer to go with their 2 top 20 recruits

The transfer won't be eligible 'til 2013-2014. So, because he's 6'11 it makes him formidable? He's also somewhat of a stiff (not a terrible or bad player). Maybe, he becomes a better player during the season he takes off, but (as of now) he doesn't particular scare anyone.

One of their top 20 players may not matriculate to Providence. There is talk about him not being eligible. Not to mention, he is a kid who has the potential to kill any kind of chemistry. He also hasn't met a shot he didn't like. IMO, I don't view Providence being "tough" at all.

They'll probably be better than they were this past season, but "tough" is a strectch, if you ask me. OTOH, I guess that is why they play the games.

In hindsight, I wish we'd have gone after him instead of wasting our time with Pelle. Any little bit would have helped this year.

They failed with Noel. They failed with Sampson. They failed with Sanchez. They will fail with Obekpa. They just wanted to have some size to show for all their failed efforts, even if it's two seasons from now.

Good points

Desrosiers, their 7-footer is a real stiff. He's big for sure, but slow of foot. He'd never be able to guard the middle against quicker centers. He also has to sit a year. Cooley has a good class, but Ledo still a big ? And has been known to be a team killer. More than that he may never suit up and if he does it wil be for one season. Providence also lost quite a few players. If they can get this team playing together they can be tougher than last year, but I'm not so sure just yet.
