Twas the Night Before Redfans Christmas

Well technically 2 nights before but I won't have time to post this tomorrow night



Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Arena named after Lou
Not a Redfan was stirring not even the 114 Crew

The Uniforms were hung near the lockers with care
In the hopes that St Rick soon would be there

Every Redfan was passed out in their season ticket seat
Every one of them not on blood thinners dying from the heat

When out on the Great Lawn arose such a clatter
Redfans jumped from their seats to see what's the matter

When what to our wondering eyes should appear
A miniature sleigh with a team of Reindeer

With a little older driver so lively and quick
Well we knew in a moment, it must be St. Rick

What are the odds of this we ask Eric " Refans biggest bettor "
St Rick has arrived wearing Looie's famous sweater

On Kadary, On Sim, On Deivon- let's get Zuby that Ball
Let's get this place rocking here again like when it was Alumni Hall

Practice makes perfect and I've assembled the right staff
Remember no matter the start we own the 2nd half

Big East play has started expect a lot of hard fought nights
Don't worry how late you practice SJU85 still knows how to turn off the lights

Such a NCAA win drought these Redfans of ours some still carry a final 4 good luck 4 leaf clover
This is the this season that drought will be over

Merry Christmas to all the family here. It's a gift to hit the site an embarrassingly frequent number of times each day for a laugh, some insights and to share in the spirit of St. John's with all of you.

Wishing you all a great holiday and time to be spent with your loved ones.
2024 had some highs and certainly some lows, the passing of each of Paul and Lou, may they both rest in peace, and may their families experience a fraction of the joy, admiration and gratitude that we all had and continue to have for both of them this holiday season.
