I am sure this makes me a racist, but why, for the past few years, are NO pics/vids of white male students shown in the tv ads?? I am ready to be killed, but just thought I'd ask.

because the fanbase is so old their target market is Viagra and Celebrex

How is this anyway appropriate to even comment on. I have seen ads for sju that show every race color creed. This thread should be locked or deleted. Racist threads like this shouldn't be tolerated.

And by the way, it should go without saying, but they are definitely excited to show off the schools diversity in these ads, as they should be.

I'll tell you from experience, I came from a pretty much all white/all boys high school in Delaware to attend SJU. The diversity at SJU was pretty eye opening for me in a really good way

The natural diversity in the school is without a doubt one of the best things about it. A lot of universities these days try to "force" diversity, but with St Johns, it is just the way it is. It's natural. So many people from different, cultures, backgrounds, experiences. Embracing that in ads is a smart move.

If you ever have any doubt about posting something and how it might come across, that’s a sure sign not to post it.

and have you seen those Bugs Bunny cartoons from the early 40's? Not sure why they don't play them anymore...

Let's kill this thread please...
