Tragic Luther Wright Story

Sad story. Immense potential growing up in an unstable environment. Great people (Pyoin, Hurley, etc.) who tried their best to help him. Those inner demons were his down fall. Just have to hope he weathers this storm & gets on the right track. Prayers should be a priority to send his way.
 
Agree with your sentiments and you are definitely not alone in your language but care is needed in avoiding the word “demons” in regard to major mental illness, lest those who would take us back to the days of “possession” get greater influence in punitive approaches to mental illness. The largest acute psychiatric care facility in the United States today is the LA County jail.
