Tournament Familiar

I have watched so much basketball since the tournament started last week that my eyes have become blurry.

It struck me that there are a decent number of players in the tournament who were involved with St. John's either as players who then transferred, verbals who rescinded their commitment or recruits that we were heavily involved with who went elsewhere instead.

I find it interesting that the paths of most of these players have moved in a variety of directions since we were initially introduced to them. It reminds me that there are precious few who can come in and have success immediately at this level. Here are seven players (can anyone add to this list) who were on NCAA tournament teams rosters this year. Their names should be familiar to many of you here.

Would like to know what people think about how their careers might have turned out if they had come here initially or didn't transfer?

1) Kyle Anderson - UCLA
2) Dwayne Polee - San Diego State
3) Ronald Roberts -St. Joseph's
4) Omari Lawrence - Kansas State
5) Jermaine Lawrence - Cincinnati
6) Phillip Nolan - Connecticut
7) Rico Gathers - Baylor

I think Anderson would have had a good career no matter where he went, he is so much fun to watch
I've hated Baylor ever since Gathers went there, they have Ishmail Wainwright too who we were heavily involved with for some time
