Top 10 NY Boys Basketball Players in Class of 2023

Brandon Gardner listed as the number 1 player in NY for 2023 and ahead of Brandon Williams. Going to be interesting to see if Williams tries to recruit Gardner to UCLA.

Not going to be a doom and gloomer, but I am I guess. I say 3:1 odds Gardner doesn't ever play a minute at St. John's. As soon as he said he wasn't signing this fall, it means it wasn't sold.

Hope I am wrong.

We have to figure out what WE are good at (culture, team dinners, hustle and build out the NIL, heck get into some Crypto scheme for the kids, something DIFFERENT), or we are going to be toast. Can't we have some weird deal where if a top 100 player and you play for St. John's for 3 years you get an apartment in NYC? Don't we have some property managers we could work with? I have to think St. John's alum are some landlords.

Where are our car dealers?

Where are our travel agents?

Where are our stock brokers?

If I am Mike Cragg I tell Val to get Gonzaga at ANY COST and help stop the wobble we seem to be in.
