Tom Pecora, former coach at Fordham and Hofstra should be our next coach. He is right now the best man available. He has a great reputation among high school coaches in NYC area which would help with recruiting. He has led with integrity wherever he has coached.

He was like 44-110 at Manhattan.
That's even worse than Norm, and that's hard to do.
 
Tom Pecora I'm sure is a nice guy and I'm sure will land on his feet somewhere, but there's no chance SJU will or should consider him. He just didn't get it done at Fordham. People have speculated that the Fordham administration didn't give hm the support he needed to be successful, but it's still his record, and right or wrong, he owns it.
 
I am told the sju admin and a sju legend are in preliminary discussions about the head coaching job........ In fact he called the admin himself. Staying on topic Pecora would be a good fit.

The longer we wait the worse we look. Im not the biggest lavin guy, but we need to show stability in the program and start hitting the recruiting trail hard before its to late. Its almost the April signing period and we are unsure who is our coach.
 
interesting but I am sure this has been in the works for some time. You don't let Lavin leave unless you are sure to have someone in mind that will not be questioned.

Tom Pecoras hofstra show was produced by the Maven n ever since then his career has had a strange turn towards the Dead End job at Fordham
