Came Up Short Today Unfortunately But We Appreciate The Amount Of Love & Support That Was In The Dunkin Arena w MJM & 114 boys Today! See You In The BIG EAST TOURNEY REDSTORMNATION!!! THANKS ONCE AGAIN... #sjubb

Dont ever think you came up short today. We were talking about this during the game and every one of my friends in 114 said the same thing. Today wasn't about winning, With Ponds out we went not expecting to win. What made us as proud as we have even been as fans and from the pic you will see we go back from the late 80s early 90's to Mullins time as a player is that with such a bad start to the big east season you guys never gave up. At times we all gave but up minute by minute as fans because we can get crazy some times because we care so much you guys NEVER GAVE UP

You were beyond undermanned and the last couple of weeks I think I can speak for all of us and say we have never been as proud as a group of guys not just as players but as individuals in life as you guys. I ( we ) couldn't ask for better representatives of our school as you guys

Sometimes we might get nuts in game threads and obviously you read the site but we want you to know how much we think of you playing for our school which we love so much and that's why we made the trip up here

Not one of us was angry after the game. We went to dinner and every one of my friends in that picture were so proud of you guys tonight

We will be there wednesday night at 7pm and we will be there thursday after we win that game rooting for you guys as hard as ever. Tell Amar we met him at Belmont last summer. Super nice guy

Never give up and I promise we will never stop rooting for you not just in hoops but in life. Thanks for choosing and sticking with our school. You have fans for life

I use to make the Providence away game bfk if it was on a Saturday. Wanted to do it this year but another obligation come up. Hopefully next year.

Great of you all to take the trip and support the guys. And to be able to get together and break bread afterwards had to be a good time.

How do you know they broke bread, may have gone Chinese. ;) Remember going to Ocean State Classic an 8 team tournament back in 1975 that we won by beating Providence in Final. Got so excited tried to run onto court to celebrate with the team but got pulled off by security. Yes it's a good road trip.

Funny. I wasn’t there but remember them winning the Ocean State. The only way you find out was in the newspaper. Times have changed!

Proud of all you guys and the team! Reminded me of my younger years when we would drive to Philly and Storrs.
We almost pulled it off today!

Great Post! Awesome picture of the 114 Crew and another fun game today. Best of luck to Marvin, Amar whom I have met as well, and the rest of the team. I try to go every year to the CHSAA semifinals at CA but it conflicts with the Georgetown game as it did last year. I did go to the Villanova game. I think I may go to the Garden on Wednesday after reading this.

That's really cool of him to shout you guys out. Marvin seems like a special kid and a true leader. We are lucky to have him.

Taken!!! Very happy that Paultz isn’t selling any bridges. Although I hear he might be teaching a course in intensive tea leaf reading.

Ditto on all the kudos to MCIII and team. Looking forward to the BET and to next season. There's going to be some sorry bastards around the league when payback visits next season. You guys maintained and extended the pride for SJU. Go Johnnies!
