Does anyone know the particulars (ie: time, cost, etc)?
Is there usually a packed house for this event?
I couldn't find any information on redstormsports.com
Either my computer skills suck or the athletic dept. sucks
Knowing me and St John's, it's probably a combination of the two

It's not you or your computer. Calling the athletic department an amateur operation would be an insult to those operations that are led by entrepreneurial amateurs. There's virtually nothing on the website about it and there hasn't been a social media post about it in weeks. There was also virtually no marketing or heads-up about the Staten Island event either.

I like the cannon. I liked it more when they used to shoot that thing straight at people at Carnessecca and I think I remember it almost taking off Lawman's head one time many years agoDoes anyone know the particulars (ie: time, cost, etc)?

Unfortunate but so true. At some point the powers that be are going to have to decide if they want to be in this major college basketball game or not. start by hiring a new AD before my kid starts college ( she is 18 months old ) .. Next grow this fan base..sure older ticket holders could not care less about tip off events /midnight madness but kids really enjoy it and that is why it's so important to not only market it correctly but also do it right. Giving away burritos and shooting t shirts out of a cannon is amateur hour ( probably sour grapes on my part because I never received a burrito) but you get the idea . Of course with all this being said the absolute most important thing is putting a good product on the court .

Did someone actually replace Fratto, or is it an unpaid intern? Honestly, being SID at a non-football school doesn't seem all that tough. . .
