Tickets for St. John's VS UConn @MSG Feb 23 12:00 PM

wow... they already Opened up the Bridge to these guys... I sat first row of the Bridge for last years game with - Cool view.... but was only opened up a couple weeks prior to the game... this link is already selling ticks in the 300s...

I believe they get access to some group tickets. Not sure how. There is a St. John's contact listed. There are plenty of unsold seats in the corner of the 200's for $52 if people are interested.

I don't believe this is anything new. UCONN fans can buy group tickets as well and they do in the upper bowls.
That is the least of our problems. St. John's fans need to show up in large numbers and be loud. Even in our glory days there were plenty of Syracuse and Georgetown fans at games. The difference is there were more St. John's fans and they were louder.

Its not new because SJU fans don't show up. So the business side is MSG wants the place sold out and knows Uconn fans will buy tickets. People claim to be SJU fans but they say they will buy a game or two. While other schools fans circle the date where they buy season tickets. But season tickets are likely more expensive since were playing in MSG. There are many more permutations of this. I just don't see in any world where SJU fans speak for 75% of the building before any opposing fan gets a chance to buy.

The key is the Band…they need to start playing every time UCONN fans start their UCONN chant…My brother cracks up every time I yell “Get the band going!!”

Actually not a bad idea and a great way to tweak their fans

Is an attainable goal 14,000 SJU fans? Interested in your thoughts.

I know that schools like BC hand out yellow BC Superfan dry fit t-shirts to freshmen at beginning of school year. No other bc gear is bright yellow and they give freshmen really good seats and get about 500-800 at football games. They all sit together and stand out with the bright yellow shirts. By junior year students are over football, but with a huge tailgate contingent seniors move back on campus just to legally drink and tailgate before home football games
