The Unholy Alliance

I don't know if schools known more for their academics, like Vanderbilt in the SEC, and Northwestern in the B10, might find it harder to compete going forward with such alliances. Perhaps they don't care as they like more the money generated to the athletic departments from being members of their conferences.

#*@k college football. If it wasn't for betting, the entire Northeast and large other urban portions of the Country wouldn't care or watch it.

College FB ruined the original Big East multiple times and caused crazy entrances and exits, then the ultimate demise. I am talking to you Boston College Eagles; especially don't like you or your (underserved) elitist attitude.

Did I say I hate college football?, I take that back, I like the Army-Navy game every year. That's it.

Boston College could have stayed in its lane as a sleepy New England and perhaps become an academic (super-regional) and athletic institution similar to Villanova through BE basketball success.  But it chose the be a cellar dweller in a P5 athletic conference.
