The NCAA is at it again.

NCAA should be ashamed. They need to do the right thing.

I'm sure joakim noah agrees with this decision and would boycott any games this heroic young man played in.

Didn't Georgetown have a 28 year old Vet on the team some years ago?

Not sure, but if you have George on the brain for some reason, it might be because George Evans played for George Mason. I think he started there close to age 28 after serving in the military.

I wouldn't mind one bit if SJU stood apart from every NCAA program by declaring it would not participate in the NCAA tournament if selected because of this asinine ruling. Isn't it time someone stood up for a vet who risked his life for America?

Would probably take a much higher profile school then us for that to have any real effect, though.

With all the political pressure on NCAA, I will be very surprised if they stand by this decision.

Only if there is any real political pressure. Colleges have tilted so far to the left that they are about to fall off the face of the earth. GWU hired someone who was convicted of terrorist activities who wants to teach to redeem himself. A college allowed a professor to rip down posters that were for a 9/11 memorial service - only when caught on video did the professor claim that the reason was that the posters were in an area where students aren't allowed to post. What she didn't say is that she openly teaches and professes that the US deserved 9/11 for our meddling in the Middle East.

I don't think this move by the NCAA was just one of those "we weren't thinking" rules. I think they deliberately feel that a US servicemen who fought in the Middle East is part of the problem, not as a war hero serving his nation.

F them.
