1. Ready to Play Big

2. Ponds Staying

3. Staff Change

Well # 2 in the bag, #1 out & strongly sense #3 happens around July. Heron will be a bonus, so I think that works for me. Good job staff.

I didn't even know I wanted another guard. Matt earned his money on that one.

And for all the crap Mitch takes, he was a great, great player. If he finds a way to transfer that knowledge to Heron, etc., then look out. Especially if he's doing it as a special advisor during informal, gray area times.

Really good day today and that is true whether or not the hardship waiver for Mustapha is ultimately approved.

Agree NCJohnnie. That’d be icing on the cake.
Would be great for Mustapha to transfer here, even if he sits out, and plays next year.
That might be a magnet of sorts to som top recruits.
Either way, the Ponds news alone is enormous.
I’ll be giddy with any good news about Heron.

Holy fing crap... Heron & Ponds & maybe Rice... well done I say, well done!!!

This coming from a long suffering 1989 undergrad & 1993 MBA who bleeds Redmen red!!!

Yeah I'd love for Heron to be eligible this year, but if not still an amazing day. Would Heron be the best transfer of the year? Definitely high on the list at the very least.

So Richmond to the special advisor role, and Rice comes here as an assistant (why not keep reaching high, I am giddy).

After getting Heron, maybe Slice was ordered to return some of his payout.

How about a player-coach?

Random thoughts;

Waiting on appeal will be challenging for the impatient. To me the outcome is no lock when dealing with NCAA, but we’re in the game.

Hopefully Chris will still make a staff change in July to help on the bench and add second recruiter. Sense he may.

It’s been a great week.To me it boosted public perception of program for time being and set tone for a significant move up BE ladder in down year for conference. Taking advantage of the opportunity will go a long way on recruiting front.

Heron gaining eligibility would not only make this team extremely hard to defend, but enhance our own D tremendously. Kid is a stud, warrior with size & great teammate.

Moon & stars lining up? Perhaps

I decided to stay in Italy until decision rendered with no internet access. :)

I wouldn't share your location! Apparently, there are redmen.comers wandering around Europe as we speak. You can't hide. Someone mentioned Italy and we got pictures from a Gelato shop. Hell Gman is posting from London. I think they are happy but you never know.

I don't think Paultz doesn't have to worry about me and Gonzalo. We are two pretty easy guys. There is more a chance that Paultz bumps into Maher on a random street in Italy.

Nah, they don't have lobster rolls in Italy. At least I don't think so!

We're on a roll!! (I hope!)

P.S. It's mind-boggling to discover that ledges can be a place that beautiful flower boxes can be displayed...
