The Greatest St John's Basketball Players Of All Time

With too much time on my hands, I was internet surfing this afternoon and stumbled upon a website, ranker.com, which ranks the best all time teams in various sports as well as many other categories.

The link that I tried to provide below did not work. You can use my link to get on the site and navigate your way to their rank ordered list of all time St John's basketball players. I'm sure someone with better technology skills than me can create a link to work.

If you have as much time on your hands as I do, I highly recommend that you check the site out. There is a lot of stuff to peruse and keep you occupied.

I do not agree with many of their choices, but I thought it would provide a framework for interesting discussion on this site.

If you check out their ranking of college basketball coaches, Lou Carnesecca is rated #30, Frank McGuire is #42 and CMA is #72.

Please enjoy and stay safe, everyone!!!

So many former greats like John Warren, Joe Depre, George Johnson, Glenn Williams, the McIntyre brothers, Leroy Ellis, Mel Davis missing from the list.

That's why I didn't really like the list
Must have been compiled by someone young who never saw those guys play
I just put it out there as food for thought

Their list is a joke. Some ot the players they list could not hold the jockstraps of many of the players they have not listed.

Amen--but not a joke; its total crap!

It's not a joke and it's not unfair. There are a lot of measures for greatness and I have seen hundreds of them except on the scale of money made in the pros. When you get there, consider Chris, Mark, LeRoy , Dick Mcguire , Bill Wennington, and Walter "the truth" (who made his millions in Greece) when you pick your greatest. A lot of important artists died broke: These guys made millions in the Pros

This list might be the most fugazy one I’ve ever seen...to list Duran Johnson on anything is nuts...surprised Ron Mvouka was not listed with the rest of the 40-50 last in.
