As St. John's lost last night to Seton Hall for a second time this season, as Yogi Berra once said it's getting late early. The Red Storm continue to lose in the same fashion as Mike Anderson had no answers for Shaheen Holloway and the Pirates zone defense.
After a quick 10 minute game recap, I'm joined by Mike Vacarro of the NY Post. (starts at 10:58) Mike was a St. John's fan growing up, has covered NY sports (including St. John's) for almost 25 years, and most importantly has known Mike Anderson for over 30 years. Dating back to his days as Assistant coach with Nolan Richardson at Arkansas, Mike has seen 40 minutes of hell up close, the way it's suppose to be run. So we discuss some St. John's history, stories, and mainly why the he said Johnnies needed to be better than this in Year 4 under Anderson as he wrote last week. I ask why it simply hasn't worked in Queens...and more.
