On the latest episode of The Eye on the Storm podcast I’m joined by the great Anthony Glover. Glover is a New York icon, someone who has been a part of iconic and winning teams from 2 championships with Rice high school, the legendary 1996 Riverside Hawks AAU team, and of course at St. John’s.

We discuss his decorated career, what it was like to be a part of so much greatness. His winning free throws against Miami and the year after against Kentucky, having ESPN follow them around for a year, Coach Jarvis, Moe Hatten and tons more. His time after St. John’s which led him to an overseas career, becoming a mainstay of streetball with coach Bingo Cole, and how he’s taking everything he went through and teaching it to young ballers at Scanlan high school as the freshman assistant coach.

All that an so much more in our all encompassing sit down. I hope you enjoy.

I, too, am a regular listener to your podcasts and look forward to them
You are doing an outstanding job, Dave!!
Keep up the great work
Johnnies fans really appreciate your efforts!!

Btw, if you like old school Big East stuff, I also highly recommend the "Big East Rewind" podcasts
They are hosted by Chuck Everson and Sonny Spera, former players at 'Nova and Syracuse respectively
They interview a wide variety of guys from the "old" Big East days, including many former Johnnies, including Looie
