The Duke has gone bananas

We really miss this kid. I give him credit for having the foresight to get off the titanic

He and Greg Williams have both been playing really well the second half of the year. In fact, Louisiana is tied for first in the Sun Belt, so Greg may even get the chance to play in the dance, assuming they win their conference tourney which wouldn't be a surprise.
Good for both of them, good players and great teammates by all accounts.

Speaking of Marcellus whatever happened to the Duke of Earlington? Maybe he follows San Diego now.

We definitely could have used both, and would have loved to have them. But just a reminder, each is in their 5th year and playing at lower level conferences which is probably more suited for their skill level.
That whole lower level thing is a bit overblown in today's college landscape. Williams & Earlington proved they were Big East level players before they left. BTW two of the best players in the Big East this year are transfers from lower level conferences (Baylor Scheierman & Souley Boum).

I don't disagree with you. I'm just saying they wouldn't be putting up the same stat lines if they were in the Big East. It's fair to ask how many Big East teams they'd even be starting on. I don't mean this as an insult to either of them.

Greg and Marcellus are showing off for pro basketball.

NC Johnnie, Tyler Kolek at Marquette transfer from George Mason might be the best PG in the BE this year . No , Williams and the Duke were more than competent BE players here . I would say they had issues with CMA as did Figgy .

Physically, Marcellus is thinner...appears to be getting away from the under-sized 4-5...more like a 2-3 with some muscle.
