The Cinderella Strategy: The Game Plan Behind Butler's Rise to Prominence

Thanks for the heads up on The Butler Way and how they took that Consecutive Runner Up finish to new heights .  Starting with Stevens as Coach , they have been blessed with very good Coaches since .. And , the Coaches hsve bought in to the UniversityBrand that was created .. The idea and success of Branding is probably best not left to College Administration but , outside Marketing Consultants. When you pay for something and pay dearly , the Recomendations usually get a bigger Listen .  Butler is a big deal in Indiana and has had better success of late than Indiana or Purdue .

Better success of late than Purdue?
Ignoring last year with the cancelled tournament. Prior 3 seasons Purdue went to the Elite 8 and 2 Sweet 16's.  
Expanding on 'of late' Painter in 14 years at Purdue (ignoring LY again which would be 15 years) he has made 11 NCAA's.

I got all the respect for the Butler way.  But Purdue is the best team in the state of late.
