Jeez this guy is a joke. If I were Alford, I'm not sure I would want his sons if it meant having him around. I guess it is hard to pass up so much talent when the bottom line is winning.

Isn't Ball's mom white? I guess that's why he was at least half a step too slow against Kentucky.

The youngest one is definitely a chucker. Middle one seems overrated too. Now that the best of the three is gone, UCLA would probably love to rescind the offers. I guess it's a bit late in the game to do it to the middle kid, though.

Although if that ever did happen, dad would probably send the kids to USC just to be spiteful.

Yup, his son gave up 39 points to D. Fox who went right around him all night. (I actually like Lonzo though).

This probably just caused his son a bunch of money in potential shoe deals. Why any team/company would want to deal with this guy is beyond me. He sounds like is a nightmare for the middle sons HS coach. If I was Alford I would tell the next 2 kids to go elsewhere.
 
Ironic because I really think this man may be slow in the brain. Don't understand why anyone wastes time putting a mic to his face.
 
LOL UCLA lost because his son couldn't hit a shot and D Fox lit up the scoreboard. It happens.

Too bad the old man is not only a big mouth but is a racist to boot.
 
This little nugget from the NY Post further proving ignorance is bliss:

Lonzo Ball ended his UCLA career with a slow night offensively, adding four turnovers to 10 points and eight assists in the loss. The “white guys” LaVar likely is referring to — starters TJ Leaf, Bryce Alford and Thomas Welsh — combined for 39 points.

I hope this isn't held against Lonzo Ball, just because his father is an idiot, Lonzo is not responsible for whatever the father says.
 
This guy Lavar is thoughtless and clumsy. No consideration for how his rants may harm his kids professionally or socially. Those guys hes referring to are friends and former teammates of Lonzo. Not to mention his younger sons future/current teammates/acquaintances. Its all about him and how hes feeling at he moment, without any forethought. He strikes me as a dumb slack-jawed yokel to be honest.

The longtime coach who helped lead all three to an undefeated state championship and mythical national championship quit shortly afterward to go coach another school. Dealing with dad probably helped push him out the door. No word on how new guy liked being there this season.
