Thank You Very Much, Paul

I would echo JSJ's thanks. I've said it before - I've been a fan of this program a very long time, and never really connected much with other fans even in seats around me. Thank you for allowing this site to exist, and giving us a way to interact with and meet other SJU fanatics.

Thanks to all of you as well, who make rooting for the Redmen so much more fun, even when moderately griping at each other. The really nasty stuff I can do without, but that's for another day. Enjoy the spring and summer guys, and good luck to Coach Lavin reeling in more big fish.

Yes, Thank You big time Paul! Life is better with redmen. It's a great way to be able to keep up with the SJU teams and the other folks that root for SJU.

Thank you very much! I really appreciate all that Paul and the moderators do to make this one of the best sites on the internet!

Paul and the moderators great job, Redmen.com is like your favorite local sports bar, when it shut down for a few months the beers were not as cold or the crowd not as famailar when us older posters went over to the Jungle.

Great job Paul and the other moderators. This site for many of us is like therapy after a loss & a victory cigar after a win ; ) Lets keep each other posted re: recruiting news during the off season.

Paul is absolutely special after what he had to go through to recreate this great site after the disaster that occurred, but I must say we also have a great group of fans that post here.
Thank you everyone.

I'm sure I've mentioned it before but it's not even just a place to talk about hoops for me. ( R&P was even better. lol )

The amount of great friends that I've gotten from this site is something I never expected.

I remember the 1st redmen.com party at mustang sallys like it was yesterday and it was actually like 12 years ago. Maybe longer. I've literally grown up with everyone here and have met some awesome guys ( I don't want to start naming people because I'll forget names by accident ) and that includes a bunch who don't post really but just read the boards. But you guys know who you are

Friends that have become not just about hoops. Friends that I'll have for a long long time.

Honestly for me at least that's the best thing Paul has done. He's introduced me to friends from here to California who I'd otherwise never have met.

Not sure if there are right words available for that.

Thanks Paul

I graduated from St. John's in '92 and have been as frustrated as many of you with the team's struggles over the last decade or so. Then, with Coach Lav's hiring, all seemed to change instantly. As I was getting more fired up about where the program was headed with Lav, I discovered this site. The passion and intensity that many of you bring to following the team is great, and I am thankful to Paul for enabling that to happen. You've done something special here, Paul, and the impact will ly grow as our Johnnies continue to improve. Well done.

Thanks Paul for all you have done through the years. Thanks to the moderators for all of their work. Out of all sports forums, this one has changed the least over the last 14? years. Can you believe the site has been up that long?

I have to echo all the sentiments in this thread. After what happened with this site earlier this year, and like another poster mentioned, jj is a good site but it never really grew on me, it's amazing that you not only got the site back up and running, but imho, it's better than ever and easy to navigate. I can even post from my crappy flip phone, which is saying something, hahah.

Seriously though, at 35, married and with a kid, and a job that often gets me home after the 7 pm games this site gives me a place to vent, a place to celebrate, and a place to complain (haha). I'm not an alum, and, frankly, I don't have a lot of friends who are into college basketball, let alone our beloved Johnnies, so I'm appreciative of the work done to keep this site working, and the posters I banter with, even the ones I don't always agree with.

Thanks Paul, even though I really dont know anyone on the board personally,I read the board every morning and have gotten to know many of them by their screen names and look forward to their opinions ,rants  and insightful
writings each day. Thanks to all especially the mods for doing a great job.Paul a special thanks for bringing the board back.
