Hello Everyone,

My name is Max, I'm Paul's son. I was lucky enough to meet some of you in NY last year for the meetup.

When I was a kid, I struggled at times to understand why my dad invested so much time and energy in Redmen.com. As I grew older, I became so appreciative of the community my dad had built. You were his friends, you cared and supported each other.

My dad was always very reserved and humble. He looked at the world and knew that he had a role to play, but he never wanted to be the center of attention.

To all the moderators, thank you for your hard work over the years. I know my dad was incredibly grateful to have such dedicated people come together to help maintain the site.

To everyone that visits the site, thank you for your commitment to the community. We are so proud of the framework my dad built which enabled so many incredible people to share their passion for SJU basketball, and even share your lives together.

Thank you for supporting my family during this challenging time. You have made the burden of losing him lighter through your support and shared memories. My brother Paul and I will continue to upkeep the site but we would like it to remain the same. A place for people to come together united in our love for St. John’s and our collective loathing of U-Conn.

With deep thanks and appreciation,

Max

So gracious of you to share your thoughts right now, following your family's loss. But then, given Paul, it isn't a surprise that his family would
also be people of value and class. Thank you for your comments and of course, our thanks to you and your brother for your willingness to maintain the site. It is a special legacy.

Max as a participant of this great site your Dad created, I never got the opportunity to know him like I would have liked to. A discussion regarding a post now and then was the extent of our relationship. Unfortunately that was my misfortune! I know you kids will be fine with anything that life throws your way because by God that’s what he would demand of you!
God bless!

You are blessed to have had such a wonderful father who touched thousands of St, John’s fans.
Your connection to this Forum will also serve as your eternal connection to your dad's spirit and that, young man, very few of us could have ever imagined when our parents were alive.
Bless you and your large extended family.

It’s a great site. Your father did a great job. It’s the place to go if you want to read about SJBB. My condolences
