In my area the BB programs go HARD all summer and the at the start of fall sports they are required to drop everything. High School.

Player workouts and practice are two different things.
I know I can be a broken record but how players look and how a team looks are also two entirely different things.

They had workouts over the summer but went home after classes were over. They will be back on campus this weekend.

Player workouts were in order to improve lateral quickness and athleticism, so as not to endure the Wrath of Khan later this season.
