I have always been a glass half kind of a person so I say we shoot to win the Big East and make it to the Sweet 16.

Bright side, Sima is the tallest guy I can remember us having in a while. Also have 3 forwards in Durand, Ron, Ellison who are as tall as our best interior player last year was.

True but the length in a couple years is going to be nice. It will make up for the lack of length in the backcourt.

Having seen Sima up close, it is amazing how long he is, with incredible reach. Additionally his frame is impressive. Once he adds some weight & muscle to that frame, watch out.

we are long and real thin. Yakwe would make a difference for us this year but with or without him we are going to need to do some things against big front lines on both ends. having multiple shooters will be surreal as a St John's fan.

looks like Sima has already thickened a bit since the early video we saw of him. I was happy to see that he wasn't the rail thin guy I was expecting.

Assuming Lovett qualifies, playing Williams at the 4 and Sima at the 5 isn't a bad lineup. I'm not counting on Jones for much, but its possible he could work hard and surprise us. Lets hope Amar will be able to provide some valuable minutes.
