He wouldn’t have been able to do it if directly enrolled in the PA program first didactic year. It would be wonderful to have a bank player like this kid have a great year and also finish with a degree as a PA. Will be pulling for him.

Marcus, I've been messaging him. I told him there a few PA's from the school that are avid ST. John's basketball fans. He said that the PA students and the program have been very supportive of him. Based on the PA program's IG acct, it seems like the students were actually going to the games before covid hit.

He is a graduate student in his first year of a 2 year PA program, not undergrad “pre-PA”.
Not clear because they mention midterm exams which the P.A. Program doesn’t even have. The school is also off campus and there aren’t spectated classes like the article says. Either way I wish him the best with it. Great to see a player finish the PA program.

The fact that he is such a strong student is incredible. It is not easy being a Division 1 basketball player and excelling in the classroom at this level. Like many have already said his family should and must be very proud of him. I think everyone will be rooting for him.
Having two fifth year players in Coburn and Smith will help with the integration of so many new players. Excited for the season to start.

Wheeler is also in his 5Th year of college.
I thought it was his fourth year but same difference. He Mathis, And Soriano also bring a lot of experience.

So you're saying we're young...for a seniors league team. /media/kunena/emoticons/unsure.png/media/kunena/emoticons/wink.pngAmaseinyourface post=441056 said:Andrew post=441055 said:Amaseinyourface post=441054 said:Andrew post=441052 said:I remember seeing him play for Cardozo what seems like many years ago now. Both wheeler and Tareq have had redshirt years. This is actually Coburns 6th year in college.
to add to your point we have:
1 six year senior
1 5th year senior
1 5Th year junior
1 4th year senior
3 juniors
2 Sophomores
3 freshmen
I was in the ER with a relative (apparently suffering from vertigo) and the PA had a St. John's ID on. I guess he was doing his clinical rotation. Chatted briefly and he mentioned how amazing it is that Coburn is trying to do both.jerpac00 post=441031 said:MCNPA post=441014 said:Good for this kid! As I suspected it seems he’s in the “pre-P.A.
