Agreed. In areas where school taxes are high, parents often have no choice to but utilize public schools as they are paying so much in school taxes that they cannot afford a private religious school.
I guarantee that if vouchers allowed parents in the poorest parts of NYC to utilize them for private catholic schools, it would have a dramatic impact on academic success for their kids
