Huge week in the recruiting industry. Starting tomorrow (June 15th) college coaches are able to begin contacting 2023 prospects but more importantly coaches are allowed on the road for the first time since pre-Covid this weekend.

Clearly this staff is working hard and has a two year blue print to show prospective recruits.  We did very nicely at the BE Awards this spring and hopefully it will leave an impression on the young men and the families who the staff is recruiting. Here is to a strong fall recruiting class which both the staff and fans deserve.

Looked at this article fast, but did not see our school mention with any of these kids, other BE schools were

Told the South Shore visitor was Will Patterson, a promising 23 big man, not Richardson, an error obviously.

NC State has reached out to Muazibini Adamu (@muazibini), per source.

St. John's has offered Adamu who plays for @Firstlove_hoops.

Just read an evaluation on Dick. Apparently he is known as a very good shooter with a great stroke. Per the review, he’s very “bouncy”.  Must be around the ball quite a bit, with an ability to take it to the hole. Here is the evaluation from Brandon Jenkins…

A long and lean shooter with a strong basketball IQ and great size for the wing position, Dick is a knock down shooter that demands the defenses attention. He is one of the better shooters in the country as he demonstrates a stroke behind the arc that has been impressive. He is a good athlete who is more bouncy than the eye test would lead you to believe. He competes to win and his future as a spot-up shooter is what excites college coaches. His skillset gives him a great chance at being an immediate contributor on the offensive end of the floor for a high major program.

That's probably why they're visiting, a lack of mentions in media.

I'm sorry, I know it is juvenile, but this cracked me up.

Naz Muhammad of Poly Prep, Jason Rivera of Iona Prep & Will Patterson of South Shore HS, all 23 kids I believe. JPM114 tells me Patterson will be very good.

per Kevin Daniels; So far today the following schools have reached out to Jason Rivera

Air Force
Yale
Providence
Bryant
Penn State
UPenn
Northwestern
More expected later

Photo is from his unofficial visit to St John’s today, per source

SJU has two open scholarships for 21-22 and one for 22-23?  Is the book closed on 21-22 roster moves?

Are there any reports on Nyiwe?
